An ancient pilgrimage.
After the Camino Frances, the Camino Portugués is the second most popular among pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela. You will walk along ancient paths, following in the footsteps of the 13th century Queen Isabel of Portugal. Since then, thousands of pilgrims have taken this way.

Witness the diversity of Portuguese and Galician beauty.
Over 12 days and 250 kilometres from Porto to Santiago de Compostela, you'll pass through some of the most beautiful parts of northern Portugal and southern Galicia in Spain. You'll take in a rich variety of landscapes from lush forests and vineyards, traditional farmlands and small villages, to rural towns, in addition to historic cities.

Experience an external and internal spiritual journey.
Regardless of the motive for which one sets out on the Camino to Santiago de Compostela, the journey itself becomes a spiritual adventure, drawing believers and seekers into a deeper retreat experience. The sense of camaraderie experienced in walking the way of St James with fellow pilgrims from all over the world is an enriching, unique experience. The Camino is about freedom. Leave your technology behind!

Intimate. Immersive. Transformative.
Catholic Missionâs small group (max. 8 people), led by an experienced guide, Dr Veronica Rosier, will meet in Lisbon. A full day in Fatima, one of the most important Catholic pilgrimage shrines in the world, will follow, and then it's on to the UNESCO world-heritage city of Porto. Pilgrims will then spend a day in historic Braga, an important religious centre of Portugal, before the pilgrimage concludes in Santiago de Compostela.
